What should I do for my coach that is leaving?

So my cross country/track coach has been at my high school for 3 years (beginning when I was a freshman). He has literally coached me every season, including summer and winter track, and has helped me and our team improve SO much! Our team got 1st place at state this year and it was 100% because of him. He just told me that because of some really tough family issues he is leaving this next year and won't be coaching us. I am devastated and I really want to do something for him to show how much we care and appreciate everything he has done but I literally cannot think of anything that could truly show him how much he will be missed. I don't want to do a corny scrapbook or something, I really need to do something big...any advice?
