Diagnosed with PCOS and Hypothyroidism and don't want to have a baby.?
I was on BC pills for 10 years. I stopped them in July 2009 and since then have not had a period without the help of Provera. I am on synthroid for my thyroid and it is just now starting to get corrected. I attempted to take Metformin for my PCOS and had a reaction to it. It lowered my blood sugar and made me hypoglycemic. So basically I could use Clomid but that doesn't guarantee I would stay pregnant without the help of the Metformin. After all this I have accepted that it is too risky for me to get pregnant and I don't have the $$ to do Invitro or adoption. If I had a baby like everybody else my insurance would cover it 100%!! But I have told my husband that I plan living childless based on the circumstances because I am not comfort trying. He will go along with it for a while but then he will bring it up again and ask me to try the Metformin again. What should I do...I have told him I would divorce him so that he could have the opportunity to meet someone else and be a father like he deserves to be. It is causing a major distance between us....
