Im hypoglycemic and i feel like im on drugs all the time?!?!?!?

Just got diagnosed with hypoglycemia and i feel like im on drugs all the time... I don't do any drugs except the Metformin that they gave me. I feel like im in a dream state. This has been going on for about 2 years and im fed up with it. I just want to feel normal again. Any ideas!! Please im freaking out!?!?!?
